It's certainly easier than having to reinstall your operating system. It is the best alternative you have when you clutter the computer till the point that it crashes, or if you want to install another antivirus or Internet security technology but you are not allowed to, due to interference with Norton software.

This tool comes in handy when Norton software programs can not be removed in the traditional way from the Control Panel.

It provides a straightforward way for helping you remove Norton products, so no complicated operations need to be performed. The tool removed remnants that had not been removed by prior versions.Formerly known as Norton Removal Tool, Norton Remove and Reinstall is a small but very efficient software application that was specifically designed to remove some of the Norton utilities found on your computer and optionally deploy the latest version of the removed software. I uninstalled Norton about a year ago and have successfully used the updated tool at least twice since then with no problems. By Jamin4u request, I do want to confirm that this tool can be used after Norton has been uninstalled.

I would just rely on their tool and leave the Registry alone. The tool has been improved over time and continues to remove more leftovers. I never noticed any slow downs or problems being caused after I used any of their Removal tools. If or when they come out with a newer version than I will probably run that one also. Looks like the version may be the same one that you have already used. I have used 2 or 3 versions but this latest removed even more.Įdit P.S. In addition to what Jamin4u has provided there is also a later version that I used recently. I am trying to uninstall the norton that came inside my equipment, but the Add/Remove function of the Windows made only part of the service. What I do?
